(AIM-GKP), an independent oil exploration companyoperating in the Republic of Algeria, is pleased to announce the appointment ofCaroline A. Brown as Chief Financial Officer in succession to Ali Al-Qabandi whobecomes Vice President, Business Development. Caroline Brown is an experienced finance professional with executive andadvisory experience in diverse industry sectors. Most recently, she was theDirector of Finance Change at Norwich Union Insurance, part of Aviva plc.Previously she was Chief Financial Officer and a main board director withNetcall plc, an AIM-listed software and technology company. Dr. Brown has UK andinternational banking experience in the energy sector as Director of CorporateFinance with UBS and HSBC. Caroline Brown, aged 42, is a qualified accountant, an MBA and has a PhD innatural sciences from Cambridge University. She is currently a non-executivedirector of WSP Group plc.
