Ei Group plc (the "Company") to appoint new Non-Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that Jane Bednall has been appointed as a new Non-Executive Director on 2 July and will serve on the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration committees of the Board.

Ms Bednall is currently Chief Marketing Officer at SSE plc and has previously held senior marketing positions with Intercontinental Hotels Group, British Gas and British Airways. Until recently Jane served as a Non-Executive Director of Smart Energy GB, the body responsible for engagement in smart metering for domestic and commercial customers.

Robert Walker, Chairman, said:

In accordance with LR 9.6.15 the Company confirms that no further information is required to be disclosed in respect of Jane Bednall under LR 9.6.13.
