RSA Insurance Group plc ("the Company") announces that Hugh Mitchell, a Non-executive Director, succeeds John Maxwell as Chairman of the Company's Remuneration Committee with effect from 27 September 2012. John steps down as a member of the Committee with effect from the same date.
