RSA Insurance Group plc appoints Non-Executive Director

RSA Insurance Group plc (RSA) today announces the appointment of Kath Cates to its Board as a Non-Executive Director as of 1st September 2013. She will also join the Risk and Audit Committees.
Kath has over 20 years experience in global financial services and is currently Chief Operating Officer, Wholesale Banking for Standard Chartered Bank.
Commenting on the appointment, RSA Chairman Martin Scicluna said:

She has a wealth of global financial services experience, and a deep knowledge of control, governance and risk management, working in emerging markets and across different sectors and cultures.
