MITIE Group PLC31 January 2007 31 January 2007 MITIE Group PLC - Changes to the Board of Directors MITIE Group PLC ('MITIE' or 'the Group') is pleased to announce the followingchanges to its Board of Directors which will be effective from 30 March 2007. Ruby McGregor-Smith will be appointed as Chief Executive of the Group. Rubyjoined the Board of MITIE in December 2002 as Group Finance Director and wassubsequently appointed as Chief Operating Officer in September 2005. Ruby will succeed Ian Stewart, the current Chief Executive, who will retire fromhis Executive position on the Board and will assume the role of Non ExecutiveDeputy Chairman. Sir John Jennings, the current Non Executive Deputy Chairman and SeniorIndependent Non Executive Director will also retire, having served on the Boardand acted as Non Executive Deputy Chairman for nine years. Cullum McAlpine, aNon Executive Director will be appointed to the role of Senior Independent NonExecutive Director. In addition, David Jenkins, a Non Executive Director since2006 will take over Sir John's role as Chairman of the Nominations Committee.
