ANNOUNCEMENT
Guinness Peat Group plc ("GPG") announces that with effect from close of business on 29 July 2011 Gavin Walker will be resigning from his role as a Non-Executive Director of GPG due to a conflict of interest.
Mr Rob Campbell, Chairman of GPG said "I wish to thank Gavin Walker for his outstanding contribution to the work of the GPG Board over the past year".
The GPG Board will consider its ongoing governance requirements at the Board meeting to be held on 18 August 2011.
