Non-Executive Director Retirement
Further to the announcement dated 25 November 2015 in respect of Tony Illsley, KCOM Group PLC (the "Company") confirms that Mr Illsley has retired as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 22 July 2016.
Graham Holden, Non-Executive Chairman, said "Tony joined the Board in June 2009 and has been our Senior Independent Non-Executive Director for the past six years, a period which has seen a significant transformation of the business. Throughout his time on the Board, he has provided a good level of constructive challenge in the Board room and we would like to thank him for the valuable contribution he has made to the Company."
Patrick De Smedt, who was appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director in January 2016, will succeed Mr Illsley as Senior Independent Director with immediate effect.
