Nighthawk, the US focused oil development and production company (AIM: HAWK and OTCQX: NHEGY), announces that Michael Thomsen and Geoffrey Metzger are stepping down from Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Mike Thomsen will continue to retain his executive responsibilities as President of Nighthawk's US operations, whilst Geoff Metzger is retiring from the Company, having served on the Board since the Company's admission to AIM in 2007.

Steve Gutteridge, Non-Executive Chairman of Nighthawk, commented:

"These changes result in a Board structure more appropriate to Nighthawk's current size and focus. As President of our US operations, Mike continues to be an important member of our team as we focus our resources on increasing the value of the Jolly Ranch project. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Geoff for his commitment and service over the past four and a half years. We wish him well for the future."
