Directorate Changes

Edenville Energy plc (AIM:EDL), the coal focused African energy exploration and development company, today advises that Simon Rollason has stepped down as Chairman of the Company but will remain with the Company as a Non-Executive Director. Simon has taken the decision to step down to concentrate on other commitments and responsibilities. Sally Schofield, a current Non-Executive Director, will assume the Chairperson's position on a permanent basis.

Sally Schofield, Chairperson of the Company, said; "Simon has been with the Company since 2010 and has been instrumental in building Edenville into a company with a JORC resource of over 39 million tonnes of coal. We would like to thank him for his dedication over the years and look forward to continuing to draw on his extensive experience as a Non-Executive Director as we move into a key phase for Edenville. 2013 will be a crucial year for Edenville and I look forward to ensuring that the Company delivers on key milestones throughout the year."
