Directorate Changes
Albemarle & Bond, a leading pawnbroking business, announces the following changes to its board of directors.
Philip Murphy, the founder and a non-executive Director of Albemarle & Bond will retire at the forthcoming AGM. Today John Allkins joins the Board as a non-executive Director and head of the Audit Committee.
Philip Murphy founded Albemarle & Bond in 1983 and throughout the last 18 years, he has led the transformation of Albemarle & Bond from a small private company to becoming the leading pawnbroking business it is today.
John Allkins was Group Finance Director of MyTravel plc from 2003 to 2007 and Chief Financial Officer of Equant NV from 1995 to 2003. He is an experienced non-executive Director and is currently on the board of a number of companies including Renold plc and Molins plc.
