Board Changes
Ricardo plc - a market leading engineering, management and automotive consultancy employing over 1700 people worldwide, today announces a number of Board changes.
Mr. Ian Lee has been appointed to the Board as a non-executive director, effective 1st August 2008. Ian has had a long and successful career as a partner with Ernst and Young from whom he retired in 2007. He is currently a Board Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Clyde Process Solutions plc and a non-executive member of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Board. There are no other details regarding Ian Lee that require disclosure under section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
Ricardo plc also announces today that Professor Ian Percy, having served almost nine years as a non-executive director on the Board, will be retiring from the Board with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 18 November 2008. As a consequence and also with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, Michael Harper will be appointed Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director, and Ian Lee will be appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee.
