Domino's Pizza UK & IRL PLC22 February 2006 22 February 2006 Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc Appointment of Non-Executive Director Dianne Thompson CBE has accepted an offer to join the Board of Domino's PizzaUK & IRL plc ("Domino's", LSE: DOM), as a Non-Executive Director.The appointment is effective from today. A high profile business leader with extensive retail, marketing and managementexperience, Dianne is Chief Executive of National Lottery operator CamelotGroup plc, a post she has held since 2000. She joined as Commercial OperationsDirector in 1997, the first woman Executive Director on the Camelot Board. Her four previous full time appointments spanned the retail and manufacturingsectors: Marketing Director Signet Group plc 1994-1997, Director of Marketing at Woolworths plc 1992-1994, Managing Director of Sandvik Saws & Tools Ltd1988-1992 and Marketing Director at Sterling Roncraft 1986-1988. From 1979 to 1986 Dianne was Senior Lecturer in Strategic Planning, BusinessPolicy and Marketing at Manchester Polytechnic. She was also Managing Directorof Thompson Maud Jones (Advertising) Ltd from 1981 to 1986. As Chief Executive of Camelot, Dianne has developed and successfully driven thecompany's strategy for growth which has delivered the longest period of growthin the history of The National Lottery. Dianne was named Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year in 2000 and wasvoted 2001 Marketer of the Year by the Marketing Society. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Marketing Society, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Companion of theChartered Management Institute. Dianne is also a liveryman of the WorshipfulCompany of Marketors. Dianne is a Council Member of ISBA and the Press Complaints Commission, and is amember of the CBI President's Committee. She chairs the ChildLine Foundationfund-raising committee. Earlier this year she was awarded a CBE in the NewYear's Honours list for services to business.
