Primary Health Properties PLC22 September 2005 Primary Health Properties PLC The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Ian Rutter aged 52 as adirector of the Company with effect from 22 September 2005. Dr Rutter has beenappointed to the Board of Directors to replace Professor Pietroni who isstanding down at the Annual General Meeting on 15 November 2005. Dr Rutter has been a General Practitioner for 24 years with the WestcliffePractice in Shipley, Yorkshire previously First Wave and Total PurchasingPractice. In 2001 he was appointed to the newly created post of Chief Executiveof North Bradford PCT. North Bradford PCT is a Three Star Trust havingpreviously won the Prime Minister's Award for excellence and nominated for PCTof the Year this year. Since January 2005 he has been Joint Chief ExecutiveOfficer of Airedale PCT and North Bradford PCT. He has also worked as anassociate of the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit and has worked at a senior levelwithin the Department of Health and on committees such as Payment by Results.Dr Rutter retains an ongoing clinical commitment and was made O.B.E. forServices to Medicine in January 2000 in recognition of his contribution togeneral practice and numerous national organisations.
