APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited (London - AIM: CIHL; Bermuda - BSX: CIHL) (the "Company") announces that Geraldine Davis-Young has been appointed as non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mrs. Geraldine Priscilla Davis-Young, aged 66, is an experienced administrator and consultant, specialising in tax. She has previously worked for the Government of Belize and was responsible for coordinating the introduction and implementation of a new sales tax in Belize, which currently generates revenues of approximately 8% - 10% of the country's GDP.

Mrs Davis-Young previously studied at Harvard Law School and University of Belize. She has been a director of The Belize Bank Limited since February, 2009.

The board of CIHL welcomes the appointment of Geraldine and looks forward to the benefit of her experience.
