HomeServe plc announces the appointment of Ben Mingay to the Board as a non-executive Director on 1 January 2012. He will also join the Audit Committee.

Ben is a Managing Partner of Smith Square Partners, an independent corporate finance advisory firm. He has more that 20 years experience as a corporate finance adviser and prior to co-founding Smith Square Partners he was a Managing Director of Hawkpoint Partners Limited and Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe). He is also a non-executive Director of AIM listed Alternative Networks plc.

Commenting, Barry Gibson, Chairman, HomeServe plc, said:

There are no disclosures to be made under rule 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules except in respect of the appointment noted above.
