Appointment of Group Finance Director

Charles Stanley Group PLC Is pleased to announce the appointment of James Rawlingson as Group Finance Director.

James Rawlingson, having qualified in 1994 as a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, has had a career in banking and wealth management since 1992. Previous roles have been at Chase Manhattan Bank as head of UK Financial Reporting, and a number of roles over a ten year span at UBS, including a period as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of UBS Wealth Management, UK and North & Eastern Europe. His most recent career has been as Chief Financial Officer, Wealth Division, Coutts.

James will replace Peter Hurst, who, as has previously been announced, will be retiring at the AGM on 29th July 2011 after nearly 24 years of service with the company. The board would like to thank Peter Hurst for his very valuable contribution over the past years.
