Synergy Healthcare PLC28 March 2007 Synergy Healthcare plc (the "Company") 28 March 2007 CHANGE OF DIRECTOR Synergy Healthcare plc, which in January 2007 completed the acquisition ofIsotron plc, has announced today that John Barker, Chief Executive of Isotronplc, will be stepping down from the Board and leaving the Group on 31 March2007. His successor is Paul Santing, currently the Regional Directorresponsible for mainland Europe. Dr. Richard Steeves, Group Chief Executive, said: "John has done a fantastic job in building Isotron's business and getting it towhere it is today. John deserves thanks and credit for the commitment he hasshown and the goals he has achieved since taking over as Chief Executive in1988. The Group is also grateful to John for the positive and valuablecontribution he has made to the integration process and wishes him well for thefuture. Paul Santing was previously President of Gammaster until it wasacquired by Isotron in 2002. Paul has many years experience in manufacturing,marketing and sales and Synergy looks forward to developing new and excitingopportunities for Isotron's business under his direction." John Barker, Chief Executive of Isotron said: "I have very much enjoyed my 22 years at Isotron and am proud of the company'sachievements. We have developed the Isotron Group into a market leader insterilisation services in Europe and Asia. It is a profitable and growingbusiness.
