The appointment of Tjeerd follows the resignation of David Blight, ChiefExecutive Officer of ING Real Estate Investment Management, who has recentlybeen promoted to an additional role as Vice Chairman of the ING Real EstateManagement Board. Tjeerd Borstlap (aged 52) is currently Chief Financial Officer at ING RealEstate Investment Management and is a certified public accountant. He has workedfor ING Real Estate Investment Management ("ING REIM") for over three yearswhere he is responsible for Finance, IT, Risk & Compliance. Prior to joining INGREIM, Tjeerd fulfilled various senior financial management positions within theING Group. Mr Borstlap is currently on the Board of ING Real Estate Investment Managementand the Supervisory Board of ING REIM Group (UK) Ltd. He is also on the Board ofING Real Estate Canada Trust and previously was a board member of Rodamco AsiaREIT. As of the date of this announcement Tjeerd has no interest in the shares of the ING UK Real Estate Income Trust. No further details remain to be disclosed as required under chapter 9.6.13 ofthe Listing Rules.
