NEWCASTLE BUILDING SOCIETY ANNOUNCES A CHANGE TO ITS BOARD
Newcastle Building Society announces the retirement of its Chairman Chris Hilton, after nine years as Chairman and more than 30 years in total as a Board member.
In accordance with corporate best practice Mr Hilton has decided, with the Board's agreement, to step down as Chairman later in the year once a suitable replacement is found.
The Society has a well developed succession plan in place and is confident it will find a suitable replacement. The date of departure for Mr Hilton has yet to be decided.
