Director appointment

The Board of CareTech Holdings PLC (AIM: CTH) is pleased to announce that Mike Adams has agreed to join the Board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 17 June 2010.

Mike is the Chief Executive Officer of the Essex Coalition of Disabled People and a former Non-Executive Director of the Mid Essex Hospitals NHS Trust. He has extensive experience within the learning disabilities, mental health and care sector and the Board believes his experience and contacts will prove invaluable to the Group in capitalising on the significant opportunities open to it in the current market conditions.

Commenting on the appointment Farouq Sheikh, Executive Chairman said:
