Informa PLC27 November 2007 27 November 2007 Informa plc Board Appointment Informa plc announces that Dr Brendan O'Neill has been appointed a Director ofthe Company with effect from 1 January 2008. He will be an independentNon-Executive Director. Dr O'Neill is a Non-Executive Director of Aegis Group plc, Tyco InternationalInc, Watson Wyatt Worldwide Inc and of Endurance Speciality Holdings Limited, aBermudan-based insurance company. He is also currently a Non-Executive Directorof The Rank Group plc but will step down from that position on 31 December 2007. From 1999 to 2003 he was Chief Executive of ICI plc. Prior to joining ICI in1998 he was an Executive Director of Guinness plc with responsibility for theGuinness Group's worldwide business brewing interests. He also held the positionof Non-Executive Director of Emap plc from 1992 to 2002. Commenting on his appointment, Peter Rigby, Chairman of Informa, said: "I am delighted that Brendan has agreed to join the Board. He brings a wealth ofbusiness experience and knowledge with him and I believe that he will be aconsiderable addition to our Board."
