Paul Brooks appointed as Non-Executive Director of SercoGroup plc

Serco Group plc (Serco), the leading international service company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Brooks as a non-executive director with effect from 1 February 2011.

Since October 2001, Paul Brooks, 57, has been Chief Financial Officer of Experian and was appointed to the Board of Directors of Experian plc in July 2006. He joined Experian in 1999 as Finance Director of its former International division. Paul is a qualified chartered accountant, having graduated from Cambridge University.

Alastair Lyons, Chairman, Serco Group plc, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to add Paul Brooks to our Board and in due course provide succession to the role of Audit Chair when David Richardson completes his three terms."

In accordance with the Listing Rules, there are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in relation to Mr Brooks' appointment.
