Centrica appoints new Group Finance Director Centrica plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Luff as an ExecutiveDirector of the Company and its new Group Finance Director. The appointment iseffective from 1st March 2007. Nick Luff joins Centrica from the Peninsular &Oriental Steam Navigation Company ("P&O") where he was Chief Financial Officerprior to its takeover by DP World. Previously, Mr Luff was the Chief Financial Officer of P&O Princess Cruises plcand has held a number of other senior financial roles at P&O having qualified asa chartered accountant at KPMG. He replaces Phil Bentley who, as alreadyannounced, moves to become Managing Director of British Gas.
