DIRECTORATE CHANGE

 

Lonmin Plc (the "Company") announces that it has been informed by two of its non-executive directors, David Munro and Mahomed Seedat, that they do not wish to seek re-election at the Annual General Meeting on 30 January 2014. As a result, each will cease to be a director of the Company at the conclusion of that meeting. It is not currently intended to replace either of the retiring directors.

 

Roger Phillimore, Chairman of Lonmin said,"David's technical understanding and experience, always conveyed with an engaging directness, has been an invaluable resource to the Board. Mahomed has provided excellent and tangible support to management and the Board over many years. They both leave with our heartfelt thanks and best wishes".
