GKN plc CHANGE IN BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES
GKN plc announces that Sir Peter Williams and Sir Christopher Meyer will retire as non-executive Directors at the AGM on 6 May 2010. The Board would like to record their thanks to both Sir Peter and Sir Christopher for the valuable contributions they have made during their nine and six years respectively as Directors of the Company.
Sir Peter will be succeeded as Senior Independent Director by Michael Turner and as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee by Richard Parry-Jones, both
appointments being effective from 6 May 2010.
