Directorate Change

TalkTalk today announces that Steve Makin will be standing down as a member of the Board and CFO of TalkTalk following the Company's interim results on 11 November 2014. He will leave the business at the end of December.

We are pleased to confirm that Iain Torrens, currently Group Finance Director and a member of the main Board of ICAP plc, has agreed to become TalkTalk's new Group CFO. Further details on Iain's commencement date will be announced in due course.

About Iain Torrens

· Iain Torrens is currently the Group Finance Director of ICAP.

· Iain joined ICAP in 2006 as Group Treasurer, became Group Financial Controller in 2008 and, in November 2010, was appointed Group Finance Director. He has extensive management and financial expertise having worked in a number of senior financial roles for CP Ships Limited and Cookson Group plc.

· Iain's responsibilities at ICAP include the Group's finance, company secretarial, investor relations, business services and HR functions. He is a member of the GEMG (Global Executive Management Group), GOC (Global Operating Committee) and chairs the GRACC (Group Risk and Capital Committee)

· Iain holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Ulster. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Secretary.
