HMV Group PLC26 July 2005 26 July 2005 HMV Group plc: Board Changes HMV Group plc today announces that its non-executive Chairman, Robin Miller, isresigning from the Group's Board, effective from 28 July 2005, due tocommitments on current and future business interests. David Kappler, a non-executive director of the Group's Board, has been appointednon-executive Chairman for an interim period, pending the appointment of apermanent successor. David Kappler said: "On behalf of the Board of HMV Group plc, I would like to thank Robin Miller forhis contribution as Chairman, and wish him every success in the future. TheBoard will now begin the process to appoint a permanent successor, and in themeantime I look forward to continuing to work with my fellow directors on theGroup's further progress." Robin Miller said: "The Group has continued to make excellent progress since its IPO three yearsago, and I have been pleased to contribute to this as non-executive Chairman.
