Carillion PLC06 September 2006 Carillion plc Appointments to the Board Carillion plc is delighted to announce two appointments to its Board ofDirectors. Don Kenny, age 51, the managing director responsible for six Carillion businessunits, has been appointed as an executive director with immediate effect. Donjoined Carillion from Johnson Controls in 2002, having held a number of seniorpositions in Johnson Controls and prior to that in Mowlem. With extensiveexperience of Carillion's key market sectors he will make a valuablecontribution to Carillion's development. Don will continue to be responsible forCarillion's National Building, Health, Integrated Solutions, FacilitiesManagement, Facilities Services and TPS businesses. Don is also a director ofAspire Defence Finance PLC. Steve Mogford, age 50, is appointed as a non- executive director. Steve has beena main board director of BAE Systems plc for over six years and is currently theChief Operating Officer responsible for Programmes. Steve joined BAE Systems in1977 and held a number of senior managing director roles before taking up hiscurrent position in 2000. Steve brings to the Board considerable experience as asenior business leader who has managed major capital projects in a FTSE 50company.There are no disclosures in respect of Listing Rule 9.6.13 (2) to (6) for bothDon Kenny and Steve Mogford.
