Majestic Wine plc (Majestic Wine), the UK's largest wine specialist which also trades in the USA, Australia and France, announces that Helen Keays has today resigned as a Non-Executive Director, having held the position for ten years.

With effect from today, Anita Balchandani will Chair the Remuneration Committee.

Phil Wrigley, Majestic's Chairman commented:

"The Board has benefited from Helen Keays' experience and contribution since November 2005 and we thank her for her considerable input to the development of Majestic during that period and wish her all the best for the future."
