Burberry Group plc - Directorate Changes
Burberry Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of John Smith as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 December 2009. John Smith is Chief Executive of BBC Worldwide. John joined the BBC in 1989, where he has held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, Director of Finance, Property & Business Affairs and Finance Director. John joined BBC Worldwide in July 2004 and was appointed Chief Executive in March 2005. He has previously served as a non-executive director of Severn Trent Water plc between 2003 and 2008.
There are no further matters to be disclosed under LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
