Turbo Power Systems Inc07 June 2007 7th June 2007 APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Board of Turbo Power Systems ('TPS' or 'the Company'), the innovative powergeneration and conditioning equipment supplier, is pleased to announce that Dr.Graham Kenneth Thornton has agreed to join the Board as a Non-ExecutiveDirector, with immediate effect. Graham has over 16 years experience in the aerospace sector working for marketleading companies such as TRW Aeronautical Systems, where he was VP BusinessDevelopment, and the Smiths Group PLC. He has also worked as an independentconsultant to a number of the worlds most prestigious defence and hightechnology companies. Graham is currently the Managing Director of NorthropGrumman UK. Dr. Thornton, aged 59, is a chartered physicist and chartered mechanicalengineer. He is a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, a fellow of the RSAand a council member of the Society of British Aerospace Companies. He is aphysics graduate and has a PhD in Cryogenic Engineering from SouthamptonUniversity. From 1975 to 1984 he lectured in Engineering Science at OxfordUniversity. Dr. Thornton owns 252,000 Common Shares in Turbo Power Systems Inc. representingapproximately 0.1% of issued share capital. Commenting on the appointment, Colin Besant, Chairman said: "We are delighted towelcome Graham to the Board. His experience, expertise and contacts in theinternational aerospace industry will be extremely valuable to TPS as we seek tobuild further on the contracts we have already won in this important marketsector. " In the last two years TPS have announced contracts worth in excess of USD $45million with Hamilton Sundstrand and Eaton Aerospace to supply components forthe Boeing 787 'Dreamliner'' plane. The Company has also received its AS9100certificate from the accreditation body NQA, confirming that its Quality Systemsare approved for aerospace electronics applications.
