MicroFuze International plc17 May 2006 17 MAY 2006 MICROFUZE INTERNATIONAL PLC (MFZ) APPOINTS COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR MicroFuze International plc today announces the appointment of Sandy Barblettonto the Board of Directors with immediate effect. He will be CommercialDirector. He joins from Pace Micro Technology plc ("Pace"), where he worked for 10 yearsin a variety of roles. Most recently he was Regional Director for EMEA (Europe,Middle East and Africa) where he was responsible for sales and marketing for theregion and played an important part in Pace becoming the leading developer ofpay television equipment in Europe. Prior to that, Mr Barblett was RegionalDirector responsible for establishing Pace Asia Pacific Ltd based in Hong Kongand was responsible for developing a new team and driving the businessthroughout the region. Mr Barblett was a Director of Pace Asia Pacific Ltd. Mr Barblett was instrumental in the start up of Pace Micro Technology Americasin Boca Raton, Florida, where he was Vice President of Sales with responsibilityfor sales and new business development with key customers including Time WarnerCable and Bright House Networks. Mr Barblett also held the position of VicePresident of Operations, responsible for all operational aspects of the companyincluding finance, legal, manufacturing, purchasing, IT, logistics andfacilities.
