Zotefoams PLC13 October 2006 13 October 2006 Zotefoams plc ("Zotefoams" or the "Company") Directorate Change Zotefoams, the world's leading manufacturer of cross-linked polyolefin blockfoam, announces that Bill Fairservice, the Company's Chairman, is retiring fromthe Board of Zotefoams with effect from 31 December 2006. Bill led the MBO ofZotefoams Limited from BP Chemicals in 1992 and subsequently became ManagingDirector of the Company. He was appointed Chairman in 1999. Bill will be replaced as Chairman by Nigel Howard, who joined the Board inJanuary of this year. Nigel spent over 36 years with Morgan Crucible, thespecialist engineering company that develops and supplies a broad range ofproducts made from carbon and ceramic materials. Nigel held a number of rolesincluding Interim Chief Executive and was a board member for 13 years, retiringin December 2003. He is also a Non-executive Director of Alliance OneInternational Inc which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The Company intends to recruit a further independent Non-executive Director.
