Directorate Change and Trading Update

The Vitec Group plc ("Vitec") announces that Richard Cotton, Group Finance Director, will be leaving the Group with immediate effect for personal reasons. The Board would like to thank Richard for his contribution towards the successful development of Vitec over the last two years.

The Group has appointed Nick Humby as Interim Chief Financial Officer to oversee the finance function pending the appointment of a permanent replacement; the search for this replacement has commenced. Nick has extensive experience in the broadcast industry. He was also Group Finance Director of Manchester United plc from 2002 to 2007.

The Group continues to trade strongly and expects to report underlying profit before taxation slightly ahead of market consensus (Reuters: £25.1 million).

The Group's full year results for the year ended 31st December 2010 will be announced on the 3rd March 2011.
