HomeServe plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Bennett, currently Group Chief Financial Officer, to the new position of Group Chief Operating Officer.
Martin will have responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of HomeServe's operating model, IT systems, best practice and risk management across all HomeServe's geographies working closely with the country CEOs. Martin will continue to be a member of the plc Executive Committee and plc Board.
Martin's initial priority will be supporting Jonathan King (UK CEO) and the UK business on claims and network management, underwriting, systems and efficiency.
Following Martin's new appointment, David Bower, HomeServe's Group Finance Director will become interim CFO whilst we recruit a replacement CFO.

HomeServe plc will publish its Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 October 2011 on 8 February 2012.
