Swallowfield PLC15 October 2007 Swallowfield plc announces that Mr J. A. Wardell, a non-executive director ofthe Company, has informed the Company of his intention not to seek re-electionat the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 8 November 2007 and toresign with effect from that date. Shena Winning, the Chairman, commented "Swallowfield plc is indebted to TonyWardell for his dedication and leadership over the past 20 years. Tony joinedthe Group in 1963 and led the management buyout of Swallowfield in 1986, and wasits Managing Director until he moved across to a non-executive role in March2006.
