Redhall Group plc (AIM: RHL), the specialist engineering support services group, announces further details in relation to today's appointment of Christopher John Kelly (aged 51) as Group Finance Director. For four years, Chris was a director of fully listed Town Centre Securities plc (LSE: TCSC) and its subsidiaries.

As required by schedule 2 paragraph (g)(viii) of the AIM Rules, the Company notes that in January 2012, the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission ("SEC") entered into a settlement with, among others, Chris Kelly, following a multi-year investigation into a financial restatement by Symmetry Medical Inc. ("Symmetry") which, inter alia, considered the conduct of personnel of Ernst & Young between 2004 and 2007 whilst Mr Kelly was a partner of Ernst & Young LLP.

The SEC investigation considered the financial restatement issued by Symmetry of its 2004 to 2006 accounts arising from fraud committed by senior management of one of its UK subsidiaries. The SEC alleged, among other things, that Ernst & Young's audits of Symmetry's UK subsidiary were not conducted in accordance with applicable auditing standards. As part of the settlement, Chris Kelly neither admitted nor denied the SEC's findings. He could not appear or practice before the SEC for a period of 2 years from 31 January 2012 and since this period has elapsed he has applied for reinstatement. No financial penalty was imposed.

This matter has no impact on Chris Kelly's current role with Redhall where his performance has led to the decision to appoint him to the Board. There is no further information to be disclosed in relation to schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
