Schroders PLC24 February 2005 Schroders plc Board Changes Schroders plc announces that David Swensen will leave the Board and cease to bea Director of the Company on 19 April 2005, the date of the Company's AnnualGeneral Meeting. Mr Swensen joined the Board in April 2002. In the light of hissignificant work commitments, he believes that it is now appropriate for him tostand down from his responsibilities to Schroders. Michael Miles, Chairman of Schroders said "I would like, on behalf of the Board,to thank David Swensen for his significant contribution to our Board discussionsover the last three years. We wish him well for the future." The Board intends to appoint an additional non-executive Director to replace MrSwensen.
