Neil Bruce to step down as AMEC Chief Operating Officer
AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, announces today that it is to implement a new organisational structure, designed to more fully support the future needs of our customers. Neil Bruce, OBE, Chief Operating Officer, will leave the business and step down from the board with immediate effect and will pursue other career opportunities.
Neil Bruce said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my 15 years at AMEC. I am proud of everything the team has achieved and particularly the 26 per cent compound earnings growth we have delivered over the past six years. I would like to wish Samir and my colleagues every success in the future."
Samir Brikho said: "I would like to thank Neil for his hard work and enormous contribution to AMEC. He has been a key member of the team that has delivered the group's growth in recent years and I have benefitted from his experience and his advice on many occasions. He will be a great asset to a future employer."
