Appointment of new Finance Director
Consort Medical plc, a leader in devices for inhaled drug delivery and anaesthesia, today announces the appointment of Toby Woolrych as Group Finance Director. Toby, aged 41, replaces Jon Glenn, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 5 December 2007. Paul Boughton the Company's Corporate Development Director has been acting Group Finance Director since that date.
Toby is joining Consort Medical in the autumn from ACTA SpA, an AIM listed Italian catalyst business where he was initially Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that Toby was at Johnson Matthey plc, the FTSE100 specialty chemical company where he was Division Finance Director, Colours & Coatings Division and Managing Director Specialty Coatings. He qualified as an accountant at Arthur Andersen and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
He has experience in the pharmaceutical markets both at Johnson Matthey and previously at Medicom International Ltd.

Toby Woolrych has advised that, in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the Listing Rules, he has no details to disclose.
