Carillion PLC20 October 2005 20 October 2005 Carillion appoints non-executive director Carillion plc is pleased to announce the appointment of David Maloney as anon-executive director of the company with effect from 1 November 2005. David Maloney, aged 50, is currently a non-executive director of Micro FocusInternational plc and of Virgin Mobile Holdings (UK) plc. Before taking up theseappointments David held senior positions in a number of services sectorcompanies, including Chief Financial Officer for Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts,Chief Financial Officer for the Thomson Travel Group (holdings) plc and GroupFinance Director of Avis Europe plc. David brings to the Carillion Board considerable experience as a business leaderin sectors focussed on customer service and will make a valuable contribution tothe development and growth of our business.
