Acta S.p.A (AIM:ACTA), the clean energy products company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Aldo Filippini (age 52) as Non Executive Director of the Company and Member of the Audit Committee. Dr Filippini replaces Mr Marco Casoni, previously Non Executive Director and Member of the Audit Committee, who has resigned due to the demands of his other professional commitments. Dr Filippini, who has British nationality, has experience as a member or chairman of the board of auditors of companies in the finance, telecoms, electronics and manufacturing sectors.

Although Dr Filippini will fulfil his new positions at Acta from today, under Italian Company Law his appointment as Non Executive Director requires ratification at the Company's next shareholders' meeting. Dr Filippini holds no beneficial interest in the Company's shares.

"Marco has served on the Board of Acta for five and a half years and has supported the Company since its inception. I would like to thank Marco for his important contribution to the business, and we wish him all the best for the future. There are no other matters which are required to be announced under Rule 17 or Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM rules.
