John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") announces the following board appointment.

Jacqui Ferguson joins Wood Group as a non-executive director on 1 December 2016 and will also join the Board’s Nomination and Audit committees. 

Jacqui is currently SVP & General Manager of Hewlett Packard UKI & MEMA, a role she has held since October 2014. Prior to this Jacqui held a number of senior roles within the technology sector and immediately prior to her current role served as the VP & Chief of Staff to the CEO of Hewlett Packard from March 2012 to 2014.

There are no other details which are required to be disclosed under Listing Rules LR 9.6.13 and Ms Ferguson does not have any interest in the shares of Wood Group.
