APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Intu Properties plc ("Intu") is pleased to announce the appointment of AdèleAnderson to the Board as a non-executive director and member of the AuditCommittee with effect from Friday 22 February 2013.

Adèle is a non-executive director of easyJet plc and a member of the easyJetAudit Committee. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of both Save theChildren UK and Save the Children International and chairs the Audit Committeeof Save the Children International. She was formerly a Partner at KPMG, whereshe held a number of senior roles including Chief Financial Officer.

She graduated from Kent University with BSc Hons in Mathematics & ComputerScience.
