Shaftesbury PLC, a Real Estate Investment Trust investing in London's West End, has today announced the appointment of Jill Little as a non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Jill Little has spent the majority of her career in the retail industry first at Simpsons of Piccadilly and since 1975 at the John Lewis Partnership. Ji

l is a member of the John Lewis management board and has been the Merchandise Director for the past eight years, responsible for the strategic direction of the John Lewis brand with specific responsibility for the buying, merchandise and marketing functions.

There are no further details that are required to be disclosed in respect of her appointment under LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
