Booker Group PLC03 December 2007 Booker Group plc ("Booker") - New Non-Executive Directors 3 December 2007 APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS The Board of Booker is pleased to announce that Lord Bilimoria (46) and AndrewCripps (50) have been appointed as non-executive directors with effect from 1December 2007. Karan Bilimoria is a Cambridge University Law Graduate and a qualified CharteredAccountant. He is the Founder and Chairman of Cobra Beer. He is an AdvisoryBoard Member of Boston Analytics and a former Non-Executive Director of BrakeBrothers. He is also Chairman of the UKIBC and an independent Crossbench Peerin the House of Lords. Andrew Cripps is a Cambridge University Economics Graduate and a qualifiedChartered Accountant. He is a former senior executive with British AmericanTobacco, most recently as head of strategy development. He is currently anon-executive director of Swedish Match AB and Trifast PLC.
