22 April 2020: MENA Land PLC, which is focused on making acquisitions in the real estate sector in the United Arab Emirates ("UAE"), is pleased to announce the appointment to the board of Khalifa Hasan Ali Saleh AlHammadi as Chairman, and Paresh Chandrasen Khiara as Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Khalifa AlHammadi is a UAE businessman who is engaged in investing mainly in financial markets. He is also the current Chief Executive Officer and a director of the board in Union Properties PJSC, a public joint stock company established under the relevant laws and regulations of UAE. In addition, Mr AlHammadi is the Chairman of the Board in Blue Stone (Jordan) Investments (PSC), a public joint stock company that is established in the Kingdom of Jordan and operating in the field of investing in industrial companies, real estate and various financial institutions.

Paresh Khiara is a senior banking professional with over 14 years of leadership experience in financial institutions. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Mr Khiara's experience covers full spectrum of strategic, financial and operational management within Wealth Management & Private Banking, Investment Banking, Direct Investments, Asset Management and Capital Markets. He also has extensive senior management experience in the areas of Statutory Audits, Internal Audit, Tax Audits, Income Tax and Wealth Tax Management.

John-Paul Etheridge has resigned from the Board due to personal reasons. We thank him for his hard work and wish him every success with future endeavors.

About the Business

The Company's strategy is to seek to acquire and develop a market leading real estate business through acquisitions of land and real estate assets in the UAE.

Its initial focus will be Dubai and it will purchase properties as investments, generally with a view to leasing them for rental income.
