Board Changes
Further to the announcement of 26 April 2012, Herencia is pleased to confirm that with effect from 1 July 2012, Graeme Sloan will assume the role of Managing Director of Herencia and will be appointed a director of the Company. At the same time, and as also previously announced, Michael (Mike) Bohm will step back to the position of Non-Executive Director.
The information required to be disclosed pursuant to the AIM Rules is set out below in Appendix 1.
Commenting on the appointment, John Moore, Chairman of Herencia said: "We believe Graeme to be the perfect candidate to replace Mike. Graeme has over 30 years of experience in the resources sector in Australia and North America, which included senior management positions in project development and mine operations, as well as previous Managing Director positions with ASX listed mining companies. Graeme has, additionally, also been responsible for delivering projects from feasibility through to full production.
Graeme's extensive operational and corporate experience will further strengthen the Herencia Board and we look forward to working with him to progress our projects."

Appendix 1
Graeme John Sloan, aged 58, has previously been the managing director of Tanami Gold NL ("Tanami") and Perseverance Gold NL ("Perseverance") and is a non-executive director of Orion Gold NL ("Orion") and ABM Resources NL ("ABM").
Graeme is not, and has not been, a director of any other company or partnership and Graeme does not currently hold any shares in Herencia.
During his period at Tanami, Graeme was responsible for all corporate activities, operations, project development and exploration. He also oversaw the acquisition of the Central Tanami Project from Newmont Australia, subsequent fund raisings and was responsible for the Central Tanami Project Feasibility Study.
Whilst at Perseverance, Graeme was responsible for overseeing the Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies relating to the Fosterville Gold Operation and was involved in the subsequent $75 million equity raising prior to being appointed Managing Director in 2005 whereupon he assumed overall responsibility for the companies operational and corporate activities.
Graeme joined the board as a non-executive director of Orion shortly before it was placed into administration in 2009 and entered into a deed of company arrangement with its creditors in 2009. Orion came out of administration in 2009 and Graeme remains on the board.
There is no further information required to be disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
