QinetiQ Group plc21 February 2007 QinetiQ Group plc21 February 2007 QinetiQ appoints Managing Director EMEA QinetiQ, the international defence and security technology company, announcesthe appointment of Clive Richardson as managing director of its European, MiddleEastern and Australasian operations, with effect from 1 June 2007. In this role,he will be responsible for all of QinetiQ's operations except for QinetiQ NorthAmerica and QinetiQ Ventures. Richardson joins QinetiQ from BAE Systems Insyte, an operating subsidiary of BAESystems, where he is chief executive officer. Insyte, which has 4,000 UK staff,develops and manufactures sensors, combat management systems and surveillanceand command systems for the defence and homeland security markets. Commenting on the appointment, QinetiQ's chief executive Graham Love said: "I amdelighted to welcome Clive Richardson to QinetiQ. His impressive track recordand in-depth knowledge of the defence industry will be enormously important tous as we continue to grow our UK defence business in technology supply, supportand managed services, and to develop our provision of these services globally."
