John Menzies plc is today pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Baines as a Non-executive Director with effect from 1 June 2016.

Paul has had a stellar City career as Chief Executive, Corporate Finance, at Charterhouse Bank followed by roles as Chief Executive and Executive Chairman at Hawkpoint Partners. During this time he led the transformation of Hawkpoint into a high quality independent advisory business with a significant international presence. He has also advised on many high profile corporate transactions.

Paul currently holds senior advisory roles with Vermilion, a leading China-based , investment banking firm providing services in China, the US, Europe and other Asian markets, and with Smith Square Partners who are an independent corporate finance firm that specialize in corporate transactions.
